Young Chefs Support Volunteer - Norwood School
e4c’s Young Chefs Program is an after-school food literacy and skill building program for school age students. The Young Chefs volunteer supports students in developing practical life skills, healthy eating habits, and confidence in the kitchen through hands-on cooking experiences. Working alongside a School Nutrition Program Coordinator and Mentor the volunteer supports students as they learn to prepare healthy meals and snacks, practice food safety, use kitchen equipment, and work together as a team. Each session ends with students sharing and enjoying the meal they have prepared together.
