ArtStart Support Volunteer

Ongoing
ArtStart is an after school arts based program operating 5 days a week in 5 Edmonton schools. ArtStart is an afterschool arts-based program that supports students to develop resilience, confidence, and their creative expression over the course of 10 weeks. Students are exposed to a variety of artistic mediums and creative processes by a skilled facilitator. Volunteers would be a supplemental support, working with the facilitator to prep materials, support students, and help clean up.

We have a preference for volunteers that can commit to the full 10 weeks. Sessions will start in the fall and end in December.

Volunteers will be required to provide an Intervention Record Check, a Police Information Check with the Vulnerable Sector Check, and two references.

Programming will be done at the following schools. Volunteers can commit to one school/one day a week, or more if they are able and interested.
