Adult Literacy Tutor - Edmonton West/North

12710 131 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T5L 2Z6 [map]
1 hour / weekly
6 months +
An adult learner in West Edmonton needs your help! We are seeking a patient and flexible tutor to work with a learner who has dyslexia. This learner would like to work on her reading, writing, and math skills that are all currently at a grade 4 level. She enjoys reading fiction (with the use of reading aids) and drawing.

How it works: spend about 30 minutes per week on lesson planning before meeting face to face for an hour. This learner is available to meet in the afternoons or evenings on varying days each week. Her preferred meeting locations are the Castle Downs, Calder, and Woodcroft branches of EPL.

Every CFL tutor receives training and ongoing support from our hardworking staff. You also have access to our digital and physical resource libraries so you can choose fun and engaging activities for your lessons.
