Literacy In The Park Event Help - August 27th

Spend a day outside in support of families, community, and literacy! Literacy In the Park is happening on Thursday, August 27th at Woodcroft Community Park and we’re looking for volunteers to help out.

This year's event will feature a story walk, storytelling with a special guest author, a sample of our family literacy programs, free books, and more!

Join us from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and help out with tasks like:
Setup and cleanup
Giving away free books
Making bookmarks
Physical literacy (games)
STEM activities

Our staff will guide you on what to do when you arrive, no prep necessary! Snacks and beverages will be provided to volunteers.

*Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.
