Family Literacy Program Co-Facilitator - Do-Re-Mi, ABC

We're seeking a co-facilitator to support our staff in our Do-Re-Mi, ABC family literacy program! Join us on Wednesday mornings between 9:30 and 11:00 AM at Touchmark at Wedgewood. This program runs for 10 weeks from September 24th to December 3rd. Our family programs use stories, games, and songs to develop early literacy skills.

What's special about this program? This program brings together music and literacy development, teaching families how to use music to make learning fun! It is also one of our Intergenerational programs: held at a senior living facility, we welcome senior residents to make connections with families and revisit songs from their youth.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to dip their toes into literacy programming. As a co-facilitator, you would be responsible for welcoming families to the program, actively participating in songs and games, and assisting with interactive storytelling. We also encourage you to lead an activity yourself at least twice throughout the program. We provide training to help you feel supported as you begin in this role.
