Role Overview:
The Video Editor will be responsible for creating and editing both short-form and long-form videos to promote the Ben Stelter School Fundraiser. These videos will be used on Facebook Reels, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and YouTube to engage our audience, raise awareness, and encourage participation. Applicants must be in Grade 7 or above during the 2026 - 2027 school year. The role will last from October to December, with the opportunity to join next year’s team.

Responsibilities:
● Edit short-form videos (15-60 seconds) for various social media platforms.
●Create and edit long-form videos (3-10 minutes) for YouTube and other platforms.
● Create engaging and visually appealing content using tools like CapCut, Canva, iMovie,
or Adobe Premiere Rush.
● Add text overlays, captions, music, and transitions to enhance video quality.
● Ensure videos align with the fundraiser’s branding and messaging.
● Brainstorm creative video ideas based on trends and fundraising goals.
● Work with the social media manager to ensure timely video posting and collect content
from special events or initiatives.

Requirements:
● Basic video editing skills (experience with CapCut, Canva, iMovie, or Adobe Premiere
Pro is a plus).
● Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain consistent video quality.
● Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
