About Autism Today Foundation Autism Today is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering neurodiverse individuals and their families through inclusive education, community support, and innovative resources. Role Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our volunteer team. As a Graphic Designer, you will help shape our visual identity and create engaging, accessible, and inclusive designs that support our programs, campaigns, and outreach efforts. Your work will directly contribute to spreading awareness, increasing engagement, and enhancing the experience of our community. Key Responsibilities Design graphics for digital and print materials, including social media posts, infographics, brochures, posters, newsletters, and presentations Collaborate with the content, marketing, and events teams to develop cohesive visual campaigns Maintain visual consistency with Autism Today’s branding guidelines Edit and adapt graphics to various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, email, web, etc.) Ensure designs are inclusive and accessible to neurodiverse audiences Participate in creative brainstorming and planning meetings as needed Qualifications Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, or similar platforms Strong visual storytelling and layout design skills Ability to balance creativity with clarity, accessibility, and brand consistency Strong attention to detail and time management Collaborative mindset and ability to accept and apply feedback Experience working or volunteering with a nonprofit or cause-based organization is a plus Nice to Have Knowledge of accessibility guidelines in design (e.g., color contrast, readability) Motion graphics or video editing skills Familiarity with autism or neurodiversity-related topics
