Join us for four days of contemporary circus performances from Canada and around the world, along with a myriad of activities for everyone!

We’re looking for fun, high-energy, dedicated volunteers for the Alberta Circus Arts Festival! We have a number of volunteer positions available and flexible schedules that allow you to enjoy the festivities along the way.

This year you can watch a show from New Zealand or Sweden – you can learn to juggle or walk on stilts – or just come out to our Circus Happy Hour and mingle with performers from coast to coast. It doesn’t matter if you are young, or simply young at heart, we have something for everyone at the Alberta Circus Arts Festival!


The mission of the Alberta Circus Arts Festival is to create a regional and national voice in contemporary Canadian circus. We are committed to sharing and experiencing world-class circus with our community in order to provide a launch pad for creativity, technical virtuosity, and collaborations. We seek to inspire, educate and entertain.
