Assisted Living Alberta (formerly Alberta Health Services)

Our volunteers visit clients in the community for the purpose of social companionship under our visitation program, and to help with grocery shopping or getting to and from medical appointments under our volunteer driver program. We have additional paperwork for those wishing to drive under our program. Our biggest demand is for volunteers who can visit during the daytime hours Monday-Friday.
Volunteers must be over 18, complete an application, attend an interview, provide a clear police information check which includes a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search, provide references, attend orientations and training, sign Confidentiality Agreement and Position Description.
