Help Vulnerable Folks Get To Appointments: Be A Volunteer Driver

Hundreds of Helping Hands Clients need your help every week! Do you enjoy driving? Drivers assist vulnerable citizens of Cochrane and western Rocky View Country by giving them transportation to medical appointments and other essential outings. This greatly helps to reduce isolation and their overall health and wellness! As a Volunteer Driver you will be: 🚗 Picking up clients from a pre-arranged location, date and time 🚗 Driving them to and from their appointments, or grocery store etc. 💚 Offering kindness, patience, and confidentiality along the way A small fee is paid to drivers to cover gas and maintenance. Drivers are able to pick and choose drives that fit into their schedules and preferred distances! No minimum commitment! Additional Details & Skills Required
Potential drivers will need to supply a current Driver's Abstract, proof of insurance and registration and complete a police check for vulnerable sector. Drivers can choose which rides they would like to give based on their own schedules. There is a small reimbursement to cover for fuel.
