Join the Panel One Comics Society as our new Director of Marketing and Communications! In this dynamic volunteer role, you'll champion comic creators from across Canada, fostering growth and connection within our vibrant community. Key Responsibilities: - Attending scheduled board meetings (approx. 1 hour a month) - Social media strategy - Annual marketing campaign for our Panel One Festival - Build a newsletter strategy - Public Relations as required - Work with our Social Media and Membership Coordinator The ideal candidate has: - Education in Marketing or Communications is considered and asset - Experience in a Marketing or Communications role - A passion for local storytelling, comic books and art Due to our structure and legal requirements, our board positions are volunteer only. Applications close: February 28 or until suitable person is found.
Certification or Education Required
Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications or related fields
