Employment Program Volunteer
Volunteers will host drop-in or pre-booked, one-on-one appointments with guests. Helping them with resumes, job searching, computer career assessments and advice regarding short-term and long-term employment and training opportunities in the community. Additional Details & Skills Required
• Strong computer, resume-writing with Microsoft Word, Internet & email skills • Comfortable interacting with people experiencing poverty and homelessness • Ability to provide advice and referrals when needed • Patience and adaptability • Effective communication skills • Career Coaching or Human Resource experience an asset but not necessary.
Certification or Education Required
Human Resources and or Recruitment experience
