municiPAL YYC

municiPAL is a Calgary-based youth-led nonprofit working to make local democracy more accessible, engaging, and inclusive. We create opportunities for people to connect with their communities through civic education, creative programming, public dialogue, and community events. Our initiatives include workshops, speaker series, arts-based activities, research, and outreach that help people better understand local government and discover meaningful ways to participate in civic life beyond voting. Volunteers can contribute through community engagement, research, partnerships, social media, and event support while gaining practical experience and helping build a more connected Calgary.
