Volunteers for Various Positions Needed

LOUD (let optimism unleash dreams) Art Society is an integration of mental health optimization, specialized therapeutic art programs and services. We are currently seeking motivated individuals that want to advocate for mental health, art, promote creative activities and connecting creative professionals and therapists with communities in Calgary. We partner and collaborate with artists, art-therapists, music-therapist and mindfulness coaches to deliver our services.

Our mission is: To connect and engage families, at risk youth and vulnerable individuals with art and creative activities , art-therapists and artists in order to prevent and cure anxiety, depression, self-harm, PTSD, eating disorders and optimize mental, physical and emotional health.
Our Vision is: To provide an easy and affordable access to art, practicing any form of creativity and art education for a creative and healthy lifestyle to as many communities as possible. 
We are looking for individuals  who are passionate about creative and healthy living, any form of art and bring knowledge and/or skills in one or more areas of operations and leadership:
strategic marketing, educational programs, creative projects and events, content creation on social media, fundraising, community outreach and engagement, advocacy and awareness,  and website administration.

Volunteers are expected to:
-  Attend scheduled board meetings and contribute to the mission and vision of LOUD Art Society, art and cultural growth around creativity, higher emotional intelligence and optimism in Calgary and other potential locations
- Deliver tasks assigned to in supporting the organizational mission and goals 
- The Board  and volunteers work as a team to support a sustainable funding model that integrates important partnerships within the corporate, education, nonprofits, government and arts service communities.

Social media content creator + Promoter (sharing LOUD Art's content)

Blog writer
Copy writer
Graphic designer
Interpreter - Written Translation Persian to English
Interpreter - Written Translation from other languages to English
Grant writer assistant
Assisting Artist/ muralist
Assisting Art Instructor

Prior volunteer Board or committee leadership experience in one or more relevant sectors ( art organization, health care organization, business, government, philanthropy, law, not-for-profit sector) is preferred but not mandatory.
