Local Farm Society

Calgary

Four times a year, we host temporary small markets to celebrate the season with food, drink, and plants that honour where we come from. Each event is a small, intentional highlight in the rhythm of the year.

Our pop-up events bring together local farmers, fair trade partners, and neighbours to create something simple but meaningful.

To bring our seasonal gatherings to life, Local Farm Society relies on volunteers who can step into many roles like baristas to serve fair trade coffee, hosts to assist guests, cashiers to support plant and product sales, food sourcing and menu volunteers to connect with farms and plan seasonal flavors, and setup/teardown crews.
