Ladies in the Family & Bridge to Oasis Foundation

Ladies in the Family Foundation (LIFF), is a community‑driven nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth, women, newcomers, and vulnerable individuals through compassionate support, social connection, mentorship, mental wellness and practical resources. We believe that everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported — and volunteers are at the heart of making that possible. Our programs are geared towards people of African, Caribbean and Black.

While our youth programs provides mentorship, networking opportunities, and summer program. We also have a mental health platform -HERconnect - that provides crisis navigation, counselling support for women and girls.

As a volunteer, you will help reduce isolation, strengthen community belonging, and create real, lasting impact in the lives of those we serve. We provide orientation, training, and ongoing support so you feel confident and appreciated in your role.
