For over 28 years, Inn from the Cold has supported families in finding stability during times of crisis. We empower independence and foster resilience, guided by our belief that every child and family should have a safe and stable place to call home. We are looking for dedicated and reliable volunteers to support our upcoming casino fundraising event at Pure Casino. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced event environment. Training, food, and parking will be provided. Available shifts: a) Friday, May 1st Banker - 4:00 pm to 10:15 pm Count Room Staff - 11:00 pm - 4:00 am b) Saturday, May 2nd Banker - 10:00 pm to 4:00 am Cashier - 10:00 pm to 4:00 am Count Room Staff - 11:00 pm to 4:00 am c) Backup Volunteers: If your preferred shift is full, we’d be happy to add you to our backup list so we can contact you in case of any cancellations. Location: 1420 Meridian Rd NE, Calgary, AB T2A 2N9 (Pure Casino) Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Volunteers may not play casino games at Century Casino during the event. Must not be under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, or illegal drugs during shifts. Volunteers can sign up for more than one day, but the position must remain the same across all shifts. No prior casino experience is required! Training will be provided, and volunteers will be part of a friendly and supportive team environment.
