Festival Chorus

The Festival Chorus is the oldest continuous choral ensemble in Calgary beginning in 1959. We are an auditioned community choir of about 60-70 voices and specialize in classic choral works and contemporary music including jazz, gospel, Broadway and World music. We generally perform three times a year and rehearse weekly in the Jack Singer Rehearsal Hall at Arts Commons. A typical season would include a Christmas concert, a contemporary music concert and a large choral Oratorio accompanied by professional instrumentalists.
