Social Media Coordinator - Instagram or LinkedIn

ELIA Institute is a nonprofit research institute exploring how language shapes human experience, including identity, emotion, and connection. We are seeking two Social Media Coordinators to help strengthen our online presence and communicate our research and community initiatives.

Each coordinator will focus on one platform, working with content and engagement volunteers to maintain an active, thoughtful, and consistent presence. This role suits someone who enjoys planning, understands their chosen platform, and wants to help research reach a wider audience.

As part of your role, you will:

Plan and maintain a content calendar for Instagram or LinkedIn.

Adapt, schedule, and publish content suited to the platform’s audience and format.

Collaborate with content volunteers on captions, graphics, research summaries, and organizational updates.

Monitor comments and messages, respond to routine inquiries, and direct other questions to the appropriate team member.

Review performance and suggest ways to improve reach, engagement, and consistency.

Coordinate with audience engagement volunteers to connect publishing with broader outreach efforts.
