The ELIA Institute is seeking volunteer Grant Research & Development Volunteers to help identify funding opportunities and support the preparation of grant applications that advance the organization's research and community initiatives.

This role is ideal for individuals interested in nonprofit development, research administration, public policy, project management, or strategic planning. Working closely with the Executive Director, you will help build ELIA's long-term sustainability by supporting the development of competitive funding proposals and strategic partnerships.

As a founding volunteer, you will contribute directly to the growth and future impact of a nonprofit research institute.

What You Will Be Doing
Research grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, universities, and other funding organizations.
Maintain and organize a database of funding opportunities and application deadlines.
Assist in preparing and editing grant applications.
Gather supporting information, organizational documents, and research evidence for proposals.
Help draft sections of grant applications, including project descriptions, objectives, and impact statements.
Support strategic planning for future funding initiatives.
Monitor upcoming funding opportunities and communicate relevant deadlines.
Collaborate with the research team to align funding opportunities with organizational priorities.
