Audience Engagement & Outreach Volunteer

ELIA Institute is seeking volunteers to help grow an engaged audience and build connections with people and organizations interested in language, research, and community initiatives. This role focuses on helping people discover ELIA and giving them meaningful reasons to follow, participate, and stay connected.

Working with our social media and content volunteers, you will help identify relevant audiences, contribute to online conversations, and explore opportunities to expand our visibility. This role suits someone who enjoys connecting with others, researching communities, and developing thoughtful outreach ideas.

As part of your role, you will:

Identify relevant organizations, student groups, professional networks, creators, and online communities.

Engage thoughtfully with relevant content and conversations through agreed team guidelines.

Support personalized outreach to introduce ELIA and explore shared interests.

Identify opportunities for collaborations, cross-promotion, and sharing ELIA’s content or activities.

Suggest ways to encourage participation, discussion, and continued engagement with our work.

Maintain organized outreach records and share audience feedback with the team.

Help evaluate which activities bring interested followers, prospective volunteers, and potential collaborators to ELIA.
