Edmonton Chess Program Volunteer Coordinator

Responsible for recruiting, and supporting volunteers. Maintains communication with partner organizations and ensures volunteers have the resources they need to succeed. Tracks volunteer engagement, provides recognition, and helps build a welcoming and inclusive volunteer community.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Organized, responsive, and able to work independently

- Comfortable with basic documentation and record-keeping

- Creative in outreach and volunteer engagement strategies

Located in or near Edmonton

We are a provincially registered non-profit that provides opportunities to different communities to foster development and inclusion through chess education. We run a number of events specifically tailored to underserved and underrepresented demographics.
