Calgary Public Library

Calgary Public Library is one of North America's largest public library systems. Calgary's library locations are located across the entirety of the city, and offer great books, technology, and innovative services, as well as hundreds of programs for all ages. Calgarians are able to access this amazing range of resources from 22 libraries, including the iconic Central Library and our newest and most unique addition, Prototype: Skyview, at which library goers can access a large range of technological resources and supports for digital literacy.
Calgary Public Library is leading the way for innovative library services responsive to the informational, educational and recreational needs of Calgarians, and we are always striving to grow alongside our community.
Volunteering at the Library means helping Calgary’s youngest citizens build learning skills, making stories come to life for little ones, delivering library materials to seniors, helping patrons explore computer technology, and much more. It means developing new skills, sharing your love of reading and libraries with others, and making new friends.
