Mentors Needed for Our Boys’ Mentorship Program

Mentors Needed Immediately!

Calgary International Learning Institute is seeking positive, dependable, and caring mentors (youths, university students, working professionals, seniors) to support boys in our community.

Mentors will:

* Teach and model leadership and life skills
* Encourage and support boys as they work toward their goals
* Share a practical skill, trade, profession, hobby, or sport
* Participate in supervised outings and sporting or community events
* Help boys develop confidence, responsibility, resilience, and healthy relationships
* Homework help 
* Be a consistent and positive role model


Mentors may meet with participants weekly, biweekly, or monthly, depending on their availability and the needs of the program.

We welcome mentors from various cultural, educational, professional, athletic, and skilled-trade backgrounds. The most important qualities are patience, dependability, consistency, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping boys reach their full potential.

All mentors must follow the program’s safety guidelines, complete the required training, provide references, and be willing to obtain a vulnerable sector police information check.
