Objective:
1.To offer transportation solutions to Chinese seniors, ensuring their access to basic necessities while reducing social isolation.
2.To provide free interpretation services delivered by dedicated volunteers.

Medical Interpreter Training Details:

Date: August 20 (Wednesday) to August 21 ,2025 (Thursday)
Time: 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Venue: The Calgary Chinese Elderly Citizens' Association - Basement Entertaining Room/Classroom

Training Content:
The training will cover the following essential areas:
-Medical Knowledge
-Language Skills
-Communication Skills

Speakers:
The training sessions will be led by knowledgeable professionals including representatives from AHS, experienced nurses, and Senior Medical Interpretation volunteers.
