1 hour / weekly
-
You can make a big difference in just one hour a week.

Imagine being the reason a young person lights up with confidence, discovers a new interest, or feels like they finally belong. As a mentor in our school-based programs, you’ll meet weekly with an elementary or junior high student during school hours for fun, meaningful activities like board games, arts and crafts, sports, or reading together. No experience needed—just a big heart and a little time.

Whether you’re an individual, part of a workplace team, a teen looking to give back, or an adult 55+ wanting to share your wisdom, we have a mentoring opportunity for you. Our flexible school-based programs are designed to make it easy to get involved and make a difference.

You’ll be supported every step of the way. We provide training, an interview process to help find the right match, and ongoing guidance from our professional team. We’re here to help you succeed—and have fun while doing it!

Join us and be part of building better brains, boosting self-esteem, and removing barriers for young people in your community. One hour a week really can change a life—including yours.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Build a meaningful connection, boost a child’s confidence, and grow your own skills—all in just one hour a week. Mentoring helps you feel more connected, sharpen communication and leadership skills, and be part of a caring community. Whether you're giving back, gaining experience, or looking for purpose, you’ll be supported every step of the way. It’s flexible, fun, and a powerful way to make a lasting difference.
