Looking for a fun, meaningful way to spend your summer, meet new people, and make a real impact in your community?
Between Friends is looking for youth and teen volunteers (12+) to join our Camp Bonaventure summer program! This is your chance to be part of something active, social, and rewarding while supporting people with disabilities to Connect, Grow, and Belong.

🎉 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Every day at camp looks a little different—and that’s part of the fun! You’ll help participants enjoy awesome summer experiences like:
Swimming and water activities đź’¦
Games, sports, and outdoor fun âš˝
Creative activities and challenges 🎨
Excursions like trampoline parks, community outings, and more 🎢
Hanging out and supporting campers alongside awesome staff
You’re not just “helping”—you’re part of the experience.

📍 CAMP LOCATIONS
We run across three Calgary communities:
Thorncliffe (NE)
Sandy Beach (SW)
Willow Ridge (SE)
You may be placed at one location (or sometimes more depending on need and availability).

đź•’ TIME COMMITMENT
Camp runs 8 weeks over the summer
You only need to commit to a minimum of 5 volunteer days total
Camp runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
You can choose days based on your availability (with consistency encouraged!)

Minimum age: 12+
Complete a Police Information Check, If over 18+ (instructions provided as needed)
Reliable transportation, 
Comfortable supporting participants
Inclusive mindset and eagerness to learn
Team player attitude 
Ability to communicate with staff
