The Alex Food Center- Community Event Support Volunteer
Help Create Welcoming Community Events The Alex Community Food Centre is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help support a variety of community events during our Harvest Week celebrations. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working behind the scenes, helping events run smoothly, and contributing to a welcoming community space. Volunteers will assist with event setup, cleaning, maintaining event spaces, and take down. Your support will help ensure our programs and events are safe, organized, and enjoyable for everyone who attends. Volunteer Responsibilities Set up tables, chairs, tents, and event materials Assist with decorating and preparing event spaces Help keep event areas clean and organized Support event staff with general tasks as needed Assist with takedown, cleanup, and resetting spaces after events Work alongside staff and fellow volunteers in a team environment
