Accessibility Renovations for Kids Society (ARK)- Calgary
Accessibility Renovations for Kids (ARK) is a Calgary charity, whose goal is to ease the daily lives of children with mobility challenges by renovating or modifying their family home to make it more accessible.
There are 9,330 children and teens in Alberta suffering from a mobility disability that makes daily life a struggle for them and their family. Performing simple tasks, like walking up the steps or taking a bath, can become extremely challenging. Unfortunately, the high cost of renovating or modifying a home to make it more accessible is often out of reach for many families.

With the support of donors, sponsors and our great team of volunteers, ARK is able to reshape the lives of these young Calgarians and their families by providing home renovations to ease their daily life.
With our strong team of volunteers and sponsors, we can provide many types of renovations or modifications such as; build ramps outside the house, install stair lifts and hoists, renovate bathrooms to improve accessibility and safety, to name just a few.
There are a wide range of alterations that can be made to a home to improve accessibility and we hope to be able to provide whatever is needed for our recipients and their families.
