Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? 

Burnaby Neighborhood House is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as volunteer drivers! By becoming a volunteer driver, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of seniors in Burnaby by helping them get to and from their important medical and dental appointments.

What You'll Do:
•	Provide transportation assistance to seniors in need, ensuring they safely reach their medical and dental appointments.
•	Offer a friendly and supportive presence, making the journey comfortable and reassuring for our senior neighbors.
•	Help combat isolation and improve access to essential healthcare services for seniors who may face transportation challenges.
•	Must be friendly, reliable and patient, enjoy driving, enjoy helping people

Skills, Experience, Qualifications Required
•	Having a valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle.
•	Compassionate and patient demeanor.
•	Respect for confidentiality and commitment to professionalism.
•	Willingness to undergo a criminal record check.
•	Map reading skill

Time Commitment
•	We are looking for on call volunteers
•	3 months minimum commitment

All volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application process with the Burnaby Neighbourhood House. This includes a volunteer application form, informal interview (10 mins), completing an online volunteer orientation (22 mins.), and policy form. Our Volunteer Drivers will be reimbursed for mileages driven.
