Volunteer Administrative Assistant – Remote (BC)

2-4 hours / weekly
6 months
Let’s Play! Society is a growing BC nonprofit creating inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming programs for neurodivergent children and youth. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Volunteer Administrative Assistant to help with the day-to-day administration that keeps our programs running smoothly.

This is a flexible, primarily virtual role that can be completed from anywhere in British Columbia. The volunteer will work closely with the Executive Director and may assist with family inquiries, registrations, program records, scheduling, and general administrative tasks.
Certification or Education Required
Previous experience in administration, customer service, office support, reception, nonprofit work, or a related role is an asset but not required. We welcome students, emerging professionals, experienced administrative staff, and retired professionals. Strong organization, written communication, reliability, attention to detail, and comfort using email, Google Workspace or Microsoft Office are important. Experience communicating with families or handling confidential information is an asset.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Play an important behind-the-scenes role in helping families access Let’s Play! Society programs. Gain hands-on nonprofit administration and client-service experience while helping a growing organization build effective systems from the ground up. This role offers meaningful responsibility, flexible virtual work, and opportunities to develop transferable administrative skills. Verification of volunteer hours and a reference may be provided where appropriate.
