About Us: Gal Senior Care Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors by promoting connection, engagement, and community involvement. We work collaboratively with volunteers, presenters, and project teams to deliver meaningful programs that make a lasting impact. Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Volunteer Manager to serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for new volunteers. This individual will play a key role in sourcing, onboarding, and coordinating volunteers across various programs and initiatives. The Volunteer Manager will ensure that each volunteer is appropriately matched, trained, and supported to succeed in their role. Key Responsibilities: - Source and recruit new volunteers for open positions (e.g., presenters, project participants, and other program roles) - Identify and secure volunteers available for specific project or presentation dates - Serve as the main contact for new volunteers, ensuring clear communication and guidance throughout onboarding - Coordinate with the Volunteer Supervisor/Trainer to facilitate role-specific training (primarily for presenters) - Conduct interviews with prospective volunteers to assess competency and suitability for assigned roles - Collaborate with the Project Manager (currently Daniil) and other team members to ensure effective volunteer placement and management - Maintain organized records of volunteer applications, communications, and onboarding progress Qualifications and Skills: - Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) - Strong organizational and administrative skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Leadership and management skills are a strong asset - Experience in volunteer coordination, HR, or team management is an advantage - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment - Reliable internet connection and comfort using digital communication tools (e.g., email, Google Workspace, Zoom)
