Folk Festival Society of Calgary

The Folk Festival Society of Calgary (FFSC) strives to enhance the quality of life in our community through the celebration of music from diverse cultural traditions, while allowing for growth to meet the changing needs of those traditions.
Our organization is driven by 4 key strategic pillars: share our passion for music; create exceptional experiences; maintain a vibrant and sustainable organization, and foster community spirit.
The FFSC runs three separate volunteer programs: Block Heater (February; ~100 volunteers), Festival Hall Concert Series (Fall & Springs; ~50 volunteers), and the Calgary Folk Music Festival (July; ~1800 volunteers).
