Arusha Centre Society, The

The Arusha Centre is home to Calgary Dollars, Climate Change Program, and Take Action Grants. Calgary Dollars (C$) connects thousands of Calgarians to buy and sell with one another to keep money local and build relationships. C$ are accepted for rent payments in numerous housing agencies, for business licence fees by the City of Calgary, and local businesses.

Arusha's Climate program hosts Repair Exchange fixing events and animates special events by with pedal powered entertainment equipment to events and festivals to inspire Calgarians to reduce their energy consumption and create a culture of sustainability.

Take Action Grants offer up to $1000 matched with 1000 Calgary Dollars to citizen-lead initiatives on social and environmental issues.
