The goal of Gathering Our Voices (GOV) is simple and strong: provide Indigenous youth with the tools to empower and inspire so that they can contribute their gifts to their communities and the world.

Over the course of four days, 2000 delegates gather from across Canada to participate in cultural ceremonies and educational workshops. We also host a movie night, dance party, artisan market, exhibitor fair, fashion show, and a talent show! 

Volunteers will be completing a number of tasks such as ushering, registration, handing out swag, helping delegates find their workshops, and even some production focused tasks like assisting us backstage during large plenary events, hosting performers in the green room, and helping groups take photos on our red carpet!

Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Volunteering at GOV is a great way to gain new skills to add to your resume and meet new people! Volunteers are also invited to our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner during GOV and can request a Letter of Reference from our volunteer coordinator as an additional perk.
