We create bi-weekly Instagram posts regarding cancer awareness(@youthforcancer), make care packages for patients affected by cancer, and write letters to seniors affected by mental illness/loneliness. Role Description: The Volunteer Coordinator at Youth for Cancer is responsible for managing volunteer applications, coordinating onboarding processes, and maintaining clear communication with applicants and team members. This role ensures all volunteer records are organized and up to date, and that new volunteers feel welcomed and supported. The coordinator also assists with internal communication, scheduling, and administrative tasks related to volunteer engagement. Compassion, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
