Treasurer (Board of Directors) - support community-driven conservation science!

Join WildResearch’s Board of Directors as our next Treasurer! This volunteer role (2026–2028) is perfect for someone who enjoys numbers, organization, and conservation. The Treasurer helps keep WildResearch’s programs sustainable by maintaining financial transparency and supporting budgeting, reporting, and grant planning.

Key responsibilities:
• Oversee budgeting, bookkeeping, and monthly financial reports.
• Track restricted vs. unrestricted funds and deferred revenues.
• Prepare annual reports, and review compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with the President and Board to guide financial decisions.

Skills and qualities:
• Organized, detail-oriented, and financially literate.
• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks an asset).
• Understanding of non-profit or grant management is a plus.
• Integrity, discretion, and reliability.

Commitment: 8–10 hours/month, including meetings and bookkeeping. Term begins after the AGM in February 2026, with training in December–January 2025–26.
