Volunteer (one time only) - Nahualli's Day of the Dead Event - November 1st
Hello everyone! I'm Lily Zuluaga, Volunteer Coordinator for VLACC. The Vancouver Latin American Cultural Centre Society (VLACC) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to contribute to the education and cultural legacy of all Canadians by exploring and sharing a deeper understanding of Latin American arts and culture. I’m excited to invite you to join us as volunteers for Day of the Dead with Nahualli, a vibrant celebration honoring life, memory, and Mexican culture through dance, music, and community. This special event will bring together artists, performers, and audiences for a full day of creativity and cultural connection. As a volunteer, you’ll play an essential role in helping us create a welcoming and beautifully organized experience for everyone. The event will take place on November 1st, and the volunteer shift will run from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., including: A one-hour break from 4:00–5:00 PM Time to attend the performance (6:00–8:00 PM) – a free ticket will be provided Final clean-up from 8:00–9:00 PM Volunteer duties include: Unloading costumes and decorations Greeting and guiding dancers and artists to their backstage rooms Decorating the stage and altar Assisting artists with wardrobe needs Distributing programs to guests and assisting with the 50/50 raffle 📍Location: Vancouver Playhouse - 600 Hamilton St, Vancouver, BC V6B 5N6 Let me know if you are interested in volunteering.
