VCH Maximally Assisted Therapy (MAT) - Breakfast Club Program Volunteer

Program Overview:
•	The MAT Program at Downtown Community Health Centre (DCHC) supports clients with compromised immune systems, including those living with HIV, by helping them adhere to medication and addressing medical and psychosocial needs.
•	Clients may face complex life challenges, including mental health and addiction issues, requiring volunteers to be patient and understanding.
•	The Breakfast Club offers a safe, welcoming space for clients to socialize with staff, volunteers, and peers.

Volunteer Duties:
•	Set up and clean the kitchen area for breakfast service.
•	Welcome and interact with clients.
•	Serve food and beverages.
•	Perform general cleaning tasks.
•	Engage socially with clients during their visit.

Requirements:
•	Comfortable working with clients with HIV, mental health, and addiction challenges.
•	Strong communication and listening skills.
•	Patient, respectful, and reliable.
•	Food Safe certification is an asset but not required.
•	Weekly commitment for six months.
