Vancouver Region Educational Services (VRES) is a registered not-for-profit organization, and we are excited to offer a volunteer opportunity for our first-ever Spring Break Camp. This opportunity provides valuable hands-on experience in education and community programming while making a meaningful impact. Volunteers will build lasting friendships with fellow team members, work closely with children in a fun and supportive environment, and develop essential teamwork and leadership skills.

What you’ll be doing:
Are you looking to turn your passion into purpose? Vancouver Region Educational Services (VRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism by providing a wide range of volunteer positions across the Greater Vancouver Area, the Greater Toronto Area, Alberta, and Ottawa. Each day, we are looking for at least 10 Spring Break Camp Volunteers—people who are devoted to giving back to their communities and making an impact. 

Spring Break Camp Volunteers will be responsible for: 
► Participating in fun and engaging activities with campers aged 5-12
► Working in a team with other volunteers to support the curriculum delivery for 50+ campers 
► Creating a welcoming environment
► Arriving at camp on time every day and sharing positive energy with everyone

Who We're Looking For: 
- Minimum age: 12 
- Able to independently arrive to work on time 
- Passionate about volunteering and excited to learn 
- Can commit to the scheduled time of the event
- Fluency in English
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks 

Bonus Skills: 
- Previous experience in event planning and coordinating
- Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English is considered an asset
