Customer Service Fashion Clerk (Unpaid Position/Community Service)

Vancouver Hospice Society is looking for outgoing, mature, and responsible volunteers to join their non-profit thrift store the HOB in Kerrisdale. ( Please note, that these are volunteer roles and UNPAID positions).

The HOB

The HOB is Vancouver Hospice Society's original thrift shop that first opened its doors in 2006 with the sole purpose of raising funds for Vancouver Hospice Society.

Known for selling curated thrift and vintage clothing and accessories, the HOB looks more like an upscale boutique than a thrift shop. Located in Kerrisdale, it is lovingly tended by a team of kind-hearted volunteers who are dedicated to supporting hospice care in Vancouver.

The HOB relies on generous donations from members of the public and other local merchants. All proceeds support end-of-life care and bereavement support programs offered through the Vancouver Hospice Society.

When we volunteer, we build strong connections and work towards a common goal: To help provide accessible and compassionate end-of-life care, and  bereavement services to those who have lost a loved one.

Note: The intake process involves a Criminal Record Check done through Vancouver Hospice Society
