Vancouver Art Community supports hundreds of artists and makers by giving them creative resources, valuable skills-building opportunities, and access to a supportive community of peers within the arts sector. We value the vibrant and essential Art Community as a vital part of Vancouver’s local economy.

Vancouver Art Community is an initiative by community-driven individuals that works for a more just and sustainable Vancouver City in partnership with creatives, community-based groups, and small businesses.

Community

Community is at the heart of every successful business. We organize networking events, webinars facilitating connection between members of the Vancouver Art Community to share challenges, make connections, and forge collaborations.

Our community is made up of open-minded local artists who are inspired by connection, inclusion and collaboration. Whether through direct teaching and transferring of skills from one creative to another, or simply having a conversation over a work of art, our strength comes from meaningful interaction.
We pride ourselves on discovering local talent, and offering them the opportunity to create audiences for their work and interact with their peers.

IN-HOUSE BRANDS & CREATIVE PLATFORMS

Different events bring different crowds of people together to connect, share and collaborate. Every now and then, we like to experiment with different ideas for platforms which can connect different groups of people. Some of these ideas stick and grow into brands that have large communities of their own.
