Sunday Breakfast for the Homeless - Kitchen Staff

Help us serve breakfast to the those experiencing food insecurity in the Fairview neighbourhood of Vancouver! We operate out of the Odd Fellows’ Hall at 1443 W 8th Avenue in Vancouver (near Broadway & Granville). From the ground up, we have built a very happy and positive group alongside good relationships with people who are unhoused in our neighbourhood. 

Each Sunday morning from 9-11am we serve breakfast to about 100 patrons. We offer hot food, coffee, clothing, snacks, and items to take home alongside offering the social element of chatting with other patrons, or our volunteers. We have a modest budget and have bought patrons shoes, clothing, radios, watches, bike trailers, and glasses.

There is no long-term commitment, you are welcome to come out once and see if you enjoy the experience. Afterwards, you are welcome to sign up weekly and try out all the different stations.
