About Us:
The Vancouver Helpers is dedicated to ensuring that all students in Vancouver and southern BC receive the academic support they need to become fearless learners. We offer free online tutoring and language sessions for elementary, junior high school, and high school students. We are a youth-run organization looking for individuals under 30. We run in partnership with Little Things Count and Red Fox Healthy Living Society.

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable individual to serve as the Program Coordinator at The Vancouver Helpers. This role is central to the smooth operation of our tutoring program, ensuring that tutors are scheduled each week, managing communication between parents and students, and making recommendations to improve the program based on feedback.

Responsibilities:
1. Ensure Tutors are Scheduled: Coordinate with tutors each week to ensure they are assigned and confirmed for their tutoring sessions.
2. Manage Parent and Student Requests: Serve as the main point of contact for parents and students, addressing any questions, concerns, or special requests.
3. Provide Program Feedback and Suggestions: Gather and analyze feedback from parents, students, and tutors to suggest improvements or adjustments to the tutoring program.

Role Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage requests and resolve issues effectively
- Experience in customer service or program management is a plus but not required
- A proactive mindset with a focus on improving processes based on feedback

Position Type: Virtual / Remote. Volunteer, 2 hours/week. Flexible remote hours.
