2 terms. 18-20 weeks.
Our student population is made up of all ages from early 20s to retirees, and encompasses those new to Canada, as well as those born and raised here. Our students varied backgrounds require patience and professionalism. Over the years, our Volunteer Tutors have included retired teachers, prospective teachers, and private sector specialists such as scientists, writers and youth workers wanting to give back to their community. If you have some tutoring experience and would like to get more, we want you! *Please refer to our Profile for our organization description.

A meeting when we will go over expectations etc. and get to know the volunteer a bit and why they would like to tutor with us.
Certification or Education Required
Teaching and/or tutoring experience
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Letter of recommendation from the VANCOUVER SCHOOL BOARD with a minimum amount of tutoring hours over at least 2 nine-week terms. New term starts November 12, 2025.
