Event Server Volunteer

We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to help us with serving food, tea, and coffee during our special events and lunches at the Centre.

This is a great opportunity to meet and connect with older adults in our community while helping create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Volunteer Duties
- Arrive at 11:30 a.m. to help prepare and set up for lunch.
- Serve tea, coffee, and food to our seniors and guests.
- Help keep the serving area organized and tidy.
- Assist with basic cleanup after lunch.
- From 1:00–2:00 p.m., help with activities and interact with participants.
-Provide friendly and respectful assistance to seniors throughout the event.
Schedule
Fridays, 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Start Date: Friday, September 11, 2026

We are especially looking for volunteers who can commit to helping on Fridays on a regular basis, but occasional event support is also welcome.

What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, patient, and respectful attitude.
- Comfortable interacting with older adults.
- Reliable and willing to work as part of a team.
- Previous serving or food-service experience is helpful but not required.
- Volunteers will receive guidance and support from our staff and team.
