Healthcare Project Manager

We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Healthcare Project 
Manager to oversee, coordinate, and implement strategic projects across our healthcare  projects.  

In this role, you will bridge the gap between clinical operations, administrative teams, and  technology vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in strict  compliance with medical regulations. 
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of traditional project management expertise  and a deep understanding of healthcare workflows, patient care standards, and compliance laws  (such as HIPAA). 

Time Commitment:  
At least 3-4 hours per week
Weekly mandatory meeting: Mondays from 3-4 PM PST, virtual

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Leadership & Execution: Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource  requirements in collaboration with senior leadership and clinical stakeholders. 
• Timeline & Budget Management: Develop detailed project plans, track milestones, manage  budgets, and ensure timely delivery of multi-faceted healthcare initiatives. 
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates,  effectively communicating technical and operational changes to physicians, nurses, IT staff,  and executives. 
• Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure all projects adhere to healthcare regulations 
(HIPAA, FDA, Joint Commission, etc.) and proactively identify and mitigate risks to patient  data privacy or clinical workflows. 
• System Implementation: Oversee the deployment or optimization of healthcare 
technologies, such as Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) systems, telehealth platforms, or  medical billing software. 
• Process Improvement: Analyse current operational workflows and implement project  strategies that improve patient care quality, clinic efficiency, and resource utilization. 
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and contractors to ensure third-party deliverables align with project goals.
Certification or Education Required
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, 
Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated project management experience, specifically within a  healthcare setting (hospital, clinic, health insurance, or healthcare IT vendor).
