Focus Area: Women’s Economic Empowerment & Tech Education Role Type: Volunteer (Part-time / Remote) Time Commitment: 5–10 hours per week for 24 weeks About Us: We are a non-profit organization dedicated to championing women’s economic empowerment through accessible, high-impact education. We believe that equipping women with modern digital skills is one of the most powerful levers for bridging the economic gap. We are launching a new Micro-Training Program focused on AI Literacy and Cybersecurity, specifically tailored for women from non-technical backgrounds. To bring this vision to life, we are looking for a passionate volunteer to design a practical, empowering, and highly accessible syllabus. The Opportunity: As our Volunteer Curriculum Development Specialist, you will translate complex tech concepts into friendly, digestible, and actionable micro-learning modules. Your mission is to demystify AI and cybersecurity. You will ensure that a participant with zero tech background walks away feeling confident, safe, and capable of using these tools to advance her personal or professional life. Key Responsibilities: • Syllabus & Curriculum Design: Outline and build the structure, learning objectives, and content flow for a micro-training program covering foundational AI literacy and practical cybersecurity. • Content Adaptation: Translate technical jargon into plain, engaging, and empathetic language suitable for non-technical learners. • Collaboration: Partner with our program team to ensure the curriculum aligns with our goals for women’s economic empowerment. • Resource Recommendations: Suggest simple tools, exercises, or real-world scenarios that can be integrated into the training to make it highly interactive.
