The Project Manager will enter into a 3-way partnership between the Client organization, the Project Manager, and PMV. We empower and strengthen children (0-6years old, siblings up to 12 years old) and their families through innovative prevention and support programs. RFP focuses on building family strengths and respects the uniqueness of each family as well as the interdependent nature of families. RFP provides a continuum of services that include; parent education opportunities, parent & child drop-in playroom sessions, a parent mentoring program, family support, refugee and new immigrant specific support services and programs. https://www.richmondfamilyplace.ca Organization Mission To ensure every child in Richmond reaches their full potential Organization Values Respect Quality Transparency Accountability Compassion Project Summary Richmond Family Place (RFP) is planning a website revitalization project to refresh and update our online presence in a post pandemic world. The goal is to create a website that is accessible & relevant while providing the needed information to both families accessing our services, and donors looking to support our work. The new website will provide information such as daily program offerings, upcoming events and be a platform for volunteers and supporters to access information. We want a modern, mobile friendly website that reflects our organization’s values while providing much needed information in a timely and easy manner. Prior to building a new website we want to investigate the ‘who, what, why, how’ of the project and create an actionable plan based upon a diligent pre planning and stakeholder engagement process. Project Manager Responsibilities • Lead a feasibility study with RFP to access the technical, resources requirements for the website • Present the feasibility report to the Stakeholders and get buy-in for project • Provide management oversight of development of the website • Provide technical subject matter expertise sufficient to help develop the technical options and determine any related estimates. • Provide regular project updates, documentation and presenting to executive level stakeholders. Required Qualifications • PMP designation is required. • Minimum 7 years project management experience • Minimum 3 years IT project management is desirable • Experience with web hosting platforms and new initiatives • Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills. • Experience with not-for-profit sector is desirable. Accountability The PM volunteer will have end-end accountability on project deliverables, reporting to the RFP representative, who is leading the project. Notes • Richmond Family Place (RFP) may proceed with interviewing and engaging applicants before the application deadline.
