About our Client's Organization
The Boys & Girls Club South Vancouver Island (BGCSVI) has a 65-year track record of providing programming and support annually to 964 children, youth and families with a range of needs at 8 club locations across south Vancouver Island. Our services span the continuum from Prevention Programs: out of school care, summer camps, youth leadership, infant and early years groups to Intervention Programs: youth outreach, youth prenatal and parenting care; and youth residential programs. These programs address complex needs from mental health and substance use to youth justice involvement and parent-peer relationships. For 25 years we have provided community youth outreach and intervention supports with successful outcomes and responses from participants and their families/caregivers.

Organization Mission
To provide a safe, supportive place where children, youth, and families can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life.
